Caprese Salad

200 g mozzarella
3-4 tomatoes
1-2 sprigs of fresh basil
olive oil
salt and pepper

Caprese Salad


Cut the mozzarella into slices about half a centimeter thick. Wash tomatoes and slice the same thickness as the slices of mozzarella.
On a plate alternates slices of tomato and mozzarella. On each slice of red (or cheese) put one leaf of basil. Sprinkle the salad with olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.
Salad can be served as an appetizer or as an addition to the main course.
