Cake with sour cherries I

Ingredients:
500 g sour cherries
5 eggs
250 g flour
250 g fine sugar
200 g butter
200 g yoghurt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 sachet vanilla sugar

Preparation:

Sour cherries are washed, cleaned of pips and place in a bowl with some sugar.
Mix butter with sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add vanilla sugar.
Separate the yolks from egg whites. Add egg yolks over the butter with sugar and mix further.
Beat the egg whites until they foam. Gradually incorporate one-two tablespoons of white in butter with sugar and yolks, alternately with one-two tablespoons of flour.
When the composition is homogeneous add baking powder and yogurt.
Pour composition into a baking tray. Add sour cherries on top and bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 35-40 minutes (or until its baked good and it not stick on toothpick).
Allow to cool, then cut and dust with powdered sugar.
